It's no surprise that the New Zealand Dollar has benefited from the current Euro-Zone crisis, as idle cash seeks a strong and secure yield. Australian and New Zealand dollar pairs, for example, are frequently used as proxies for Chinese growth and have performed well against the Euro in recent years. Although China's growth may become a source of concern as the country moves away from export-driven growth, the Eurozone's weakness may limit any significant reversal.
