XRP's liquidity index on Binance has climbed to its highest point in roughly six months, according to CryptoQuant data cited by U.Today. Thirty-day liquidity turnover on the exchange has rebounded to about $4.6 billion after a sharp summer slump, alongside a rise in XRP flows on the platform.
XRP's liquidity index on Binance has jumped to its highest level in about six months. XRP's 30-day liquidity turnover on Binance has surged to about $4.6 billion, while its liquidity index on the exchange reached 0.0675 as of September 15.
The metric had slumped earlier this year, with turnover dropping to between about $2 billion and $3 billion around July and August. It has since climbed back to levels last seen around May, and the renewed momentum has come with an increase in XRP flows on the exchange.
The surge in liquidity does not necessarily signal a coming price rally. Instead, it could point to increased deposits and withdrawals, along with greater trading activity tied to XRP on Binance.
The liquidity index does not dictate XRP's price movements, but it does measure the level of market participation in the asset, reflecting engagement from both buyers and sellers. Nonetheless, higher liquidity lets traders execute larger orders without moving the price much, which can create a more favorable environment for market participants.
