XRP is consolidating near $1.07 after defending the $1.04 support zone, with a cluster of moving averages between $1.07 and $1.10 continuing to cap the recovery. Spot ETF inflows extended to a third straight week through July 31, even as the token stays stuck below its year-long resistance band. Buyers now need a confirmed break above $1.10-$1.13 to challenge the broader pattern of lower highs.

XRP is holding near $1.07 after repeatedly defending the $1.04 support zone over recent sessions, a pattern that suggests selling pressure has eased even though buyers have yet to seize control. The 20, 50, 100, and 200-period moving averages are clustered between $1.07 and $1.10, forming a resistance band that keeps limiting upside momentum.

Momentum firms without confirming a reversal

The RSI has climbed to 47.64, an improvement that shows rising momentum but does not confirm bulls are gaining strength. The MACD has also turned positive as bearish histograms shrink, and its two signal lines are converging toward a potential crossover.

Those shifts point to fading downside momentum rather than a decisive reversal. Buyers must reclaim $1.10 before challenging the $1.12 resistance area, and a successful breakout would weaken the broader bearish structure and encourage renewed participation.

ETF inflows mark a third straight week of gains

Institutional demand for XRP continues despite the overhead resistance. Weekly spot ETF inflows reached $14.86 million by July 31, marking a third consecutive week of positive flows after a $7.18 million outflow on July 10.

Cumulative net inflows have climbed to $1.51 billion, while total net assets stand at $988.78 million. On-chain data confirmed the trend: Week 31 saw 15.25 million XRP, or roughly $16.27 million, in net inflows.

Rather than triggering an immediate breakout, the inflows suggest investors keep accumulating even as XRP trades below major resistance. That steady accumulation could gradually tighten available supply if demand persists, though institutional support alone may keep stabilizing price instead of driving a sustained rally until buyers reclaim $1.10-$1.12.

A year-long pattern of lower highs still holds

XRP continues trading within a year-long pattern of lower highs, with $1.00-$1.05 providing consistent support and $1.10-$1.13 limiting every recovery attempt. That same resistance zone lines up with past swing highs and an established trend line, making it the battleground for the current market.

A clean break above resistance on rising trading volume would show buyers absorbing available supply rather than just pushing price higher. Defending $1.00 keeps downside risk contained, but only a confirmed breakout above resistance would end the lower-high sequence and signal a more durable recovery.
