XRP holds a key support zone near $1.06 as the Senate opens a narrow window to advance the CLARITY Act this week. ETF inflows extended a four-month streak in July, while momentum indicators stay weak.

XRP traded near $1.07 on Monday, down 1.05% over the prior 24 hours, holding just above the $1.05–$1.07 zone that has capped its recent moves. A rebound toward $1.15 remains possible this week if buyers defend that floor, though XRP's next move may hinge on how the Senate handles the CLARITY Act.

CLARITY Act Vote Window Narrows Ahead of Recess

The CLARITY Act was absent from Monday's Senate schedule, which listed only a spending vote, leaving lawmakers little time to take it up before the chamber's August 10 recess. Under that schedule, an ordinary cloture motion may be filed on Wednesday, August 5, and senators could vote on proceeding to the bill as early as Friday, August 7.

That vote would not pass the bill or send it to the president. It would only decide whether the Senate begins formal consideration of the measure.

Leaders might still speed things up through unanimous consent or a bipartisan petition, but both routes would need cooperation in an already crowded legislative calendar. Some senators have warned that missing this window could push serious action on the bill to 2030.

XRP ETF Inflows Extend Four-Month Streak

XRP exchange-traded funds recorded $7.69 million in net inflows on July 31, lifting cumulative inflows to $1.51 billion on trading value of $8.62 million. Net assets stood at $988.78 million, or 1.49% of XRP's market capitalization.

Bitwise led demand with $7.12 million, while Franklin Templeton added $576,520; Canary, 21Shares, and Grayscale saw no new inflows. The group gained $27.29 million over July, marking a fourth straight month of inflows.

Technical Picture Shows Weak Momentum

XRP fell to $1.0656 on Monday and traded weakly after a failed recovery near $1.09. The four-hour chart shows sellers defending every rebound, with XRP trading below all marked resistance levels and immediate support near $1.06, where buyers have already attempted multiple recoveries.

The MACD line sits slightly above its signal line, pointing to weak recovery momentum. The RSI hovers near 44, below the neutral range and still open to further selling.

A break below $1.06 could open the door to $1.05 and extend the bearish pattern. Holding that level, however, could support a move toward $1.10, and further buying above that level could push XRP toward $1.12 and then $1.15.
