US spot Bitcoin ETFs ended the week with $301 million in net inflows, breaking a two-week losing streak. Early-week buying drove the result, while Thursday and Friday brought $773.5 million in outflows. BlackRock's IBIT accounted for more than the whole category's net inflow.
US spot Bitcoin ETFs finished the week with $301 million in net inflows, ending a two-week run of outflows. The margin was thin: a Monday-to-Wednesday surge did most of the work, and Thursday and Friday gave back a good chunk of it.
Bitcoin itself traded around $80,490 after a 1% move. Meanwhile, traders on Myriad raised the odds of a drop to $77,500 this month to 43%.
Inflows early, exits late
The provisional figure was $301.2 million for the trading days ending October 24, after combined net outflows of approximately $910 million over the prior two weeks. Monday brought $526.7 million in inflows, Tuesday added $23.2 million and Wednesday added $524.8 million.
Then the tone flipped. Thursday saw $635.6 million leave the funds, the largest single-day outflow of the week, and Friday followed with $137.9 million in redemptions.
Despite the weekly gain, the funds remain down about $314 million for October, according to Decrypt.
IBIT carries the week
BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust, ticker IBIT, pulled in $565.7 million week-to-date. That is more than the total net inflow across all funds, so the rest of the field, taken together, was net negative.
IBIT still felt the late selling, with $110.3 million in outflows on Friday, the heaviest single-fund redemption that day. Fidelity's FBTC also saw $31.8 million in Friday outflows.
Ether funds move the other way
Spot Ether ETFs recorded a net outflow of about $221 million over the same week. Total assets under management for US spot Bitcoin ETFs are estimated between $104.7 billion and $109 billion, and cumulative net inflows have topped $57 billion since launch in January 2024.
