All six US Solana ETFs recorded zero net flow for five straight trading sessions through Aug. 4, according to Farside Investors. The pause followed an $18.1 million outflow from Bitwise's BSOL on July 28, and cumulative net flow across the six funds stands at $1.122 billion, with seed capital making up about 40% of that total.
Farside Investors recorded zero net flow for BSOL, VSOL, FSOL, TSOL, SOEZ, and GSOL across five straight sessions from July 29 through Aug. 4. The pause in reported primary-market activity followed an $18.1 million outflow from Bitwise's BSOL on July 28.
The same Farside table put cumulative net flow across the six Solana ETFs at $1.122 billion through Aug. 4. Seed capital accounts for $449.3 million of that total, about 40%, meaning only a portion of the cumulative figure reflects later net creations. Farside also classifies $102.7 million of GSOL's seed capital as a conversion from an earlier product.
What zero net flow actually measures
A daily net-flow reading only counts the balance after fund-share creations and redemptions — a process authorized participants handle in the primary market for ETF shares, while investors trade existing shares with each other on exchanges. Secondary-market volume, fund assets, and broader investor interest therefore need separate evidence from Farside's zero readings.
Issuer snapshots show the gap. Bitwise reported about $596.37 million of net assets in BSOL on data dated Aug. 2. 21Shares reported roughly $3.09 million of TSOL assets and nonzero daily trading volume around Aug. 3.
Those figures coexisted with Farside's zero entries because assets held and exchange trading measure different activity than daily net creations and redemptions.
Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs keep pulling in cash
The Solana pause contrasted with larger crypto fund complexes on Aug. 4, when Farside reported $211.5 million of net inflow for US Bitcoin ETFs. Ethereum ETFs added $53.1 million on the same date. The two complexes are much larger and more mature, so the numbers work only as a rough gauge, not a direct comparison of demand.
Nothing in the five-session pause confirms fading demand for Solana's ETF lineup. Judging any real shift will need fresh creation, redemption, trading, and asset data from the six funds in the sessions ahead.
