Russian output of petroleum products and coke fell 19.3% year-on-year in July, according to data Rosstat released Wednesday. The decline eased from June's steeper drop, though output stayed below year-ago levels.
The July figure marks a smaller drop than the 21.7% year-on-year decline recorded in June. Output also rose 5.6% in July compared with June, Rosstat said. The agency did not provide absolute production volumes in its report.
For the first seven months of the year, output fell 9.2% compared with the January-July period in 2025. Fuel production in Russia has been declining because of Ukrainian drone attacks on oil refineries.
