Japan's Remixpoint sold its entire XRP, Ethereum, Solana and Dogecoin holdings on September 1, 2026, netting a ¥117.8 million profit, and moved its crypto treasury exclusively into Bitcoin. The company now holds roughly 1,506 BTC and says it considered market conditions and risk-return characteristics before concentrating on a single asset.

Remixpoint has eliminated every altcoin from its corporate treasury, selling its ETH, SOL, XRP and DOGE positions in a single day. The Japanese-listed firm's crypto portfolio now consists exclusively of approximately 1,506 BTC.

Four coins sold, one profit split unevenly

The company sold roughly 901.45 ETH for ¥353.4 million, realizing a ¥60.2 million gain, the largest of the four positions. Its 13,920 SOL holding brought in ¥227.9 million and produced a ¥49.3 million profit. The company's 1.19 million XRP tokens generated a smaller ¥11.5 million gain. Dogecoin was the only position sold at a loss: Remixpoint received about ¥37.1 million for 2.8 million DOGE, crystallizing a ¥3.3 million loss. Combined, the four sales totaled ¥878.81 million and produced a ¥117.77 million net profit against the assets' book value at the start of the period.

From a yen hedge to a Bitcoin-only strategy

Back in June, Remixpoint had taken the opposite approach. To protect its capital from the weakening yen, the company began buying altcoins and accumulated around 1.2 million XRP tokens, while also adding Solana and Dogecoin to its balance sheet. But management's approach changed over the summer: after assessing market risks and altcoin volatility, leadership adopted a strategy that, according to U.Today, it called "selection and concentration". All altcoins were sold on September 1, 2026.

The altcoins were not sitting idle before the sale. ETH and SOL staking generated approximately ¥29.9 million in cumulative rewards through August 31. Bitcoin has produced income too: through its lending program, Remixpoint earned 14.92 BTC in interest between February and August 2026, worth approximately ¥164.21 million, without selling the underlying asset.

Remixpoint has not committed the sale proceeds to further Bitcoin purchases. Instead, the company is considering deploying the capital toward growth areas including grid-scale battery storage and strengthening its financial position, Crypto News Flash reports. According to U.Today, the realized profit will go toward the company's core energy business, including its fleet of industrial battery storage systems.
