Nvidia has agreed to buy stakes in four French startups: Doctolib, Genesis AI, Pigment and Entalpic. Financial terms were not disclosed, and a further $2 billion in European investment is expected within a week.
Nvidia has agreed to buy stakes in French technology startups Doctolib, Genesis AI, Pigment and Entalpic, French newspaper Les Echos reported on Tuesday. Genesis AI, Entalpic and Pigment did not respond immediately to requests for comment.
Doctolib had said previously that Nvidia agreed to buy a minority stake, without specifying its size or value. The company said Nvidia's presence would help it develop artificial intelligence tools.
Crypto Briefing reports that CEO Jensen Huang announced the deals on October 13, 2026 while visiting Paris. Nvidia did not disclose the financial terms of any of the four investments, so the size of each stake and the valuations behind them remain private.
The four companies work in different fields. Genesis AI works on general-purpose robotics and AI systems, while Pigment makes AI-powered business planning and financial software. Entalpic uses generative AI to speed up the discovery of materials and chemicals, and Doctolib runs a healthcare appointment scheduling and administration platform. Nvidia also committed to helping Doctolib train AI models.
Nvidia is expected to announce an additional $2 billion in European investments within a week of the Paris announcements. That would add to the $8 billion it has already invested in Europe over the past year, for a total of $10 billion.
