Ethereum wallets holding between 10,000 and 100,000 ETH have added 5.6 million ETH since an accumulation phase began in mid-2025. Cointelegraph data citing CryptoQuant shows the total balance held in accumulation addresses has since climbed to 26.55 million ETH, alongside a record in staked ETH.
Wallets holding between 10,000 and 100,000 ETH added 5.6 million ETH during an accumulation phase that began in mid-2025, according to a Sygnum-sourced report citing CryptoQuant. The buying by these mid-sized whale cohorts lines up with a broader climb in Ethereum's on-chain accumulation metrics tracked separately by Cointelegraph.
Cointelegraph, citing CryptoQuant, reported that daily inflows into accumulation addresses climbed through the second half of 2025 and set an all-time high of 1.14 million ETH in November 2025. The total balance held across these wallets then rose by 6.5 million ETH to 26.55 million ETH, up from 20.1 million ETH on Jan. 1.
Rising inflows and a higher total balance can point to growing long-horizon holding activity. Yet on their own, these on-chain metrics cannot show future price direction or the motives behind the flows, since they are snapshots drawn from address classifications and cohort buckets.
The inflow trend persisted into 2026, averaging 200,000 ETH per day, Cointelegraph reported. The outlet also noted a milestone in staked ETH that sits alongside the accumulation-wallet buildup. Staked ETH supply reached a record 37.85 million ETH, a figure Cointelegraph attributed to Dune.
One checkpoint is whether daily inflows approach or exceed the 1.14 million ETH record. Another is whether the 2026 pace of 200,000 ETH per day persists. These reports track wallet balances and flows rather than price direction, and they do not attribute the trend to a single catalyst.
