Crypto analyst Ali says Ethereum could climb toward $3,000 if it clears resistance at $2,570, after the asset held support near $2,375. He also points to roughly 140,000 ETH, worth about $350 million, pulled off exchanges over 96 hours, a sign investors are choosing to hold rather than sell.
Ethereum is holding support near $2,375, and pseudonymous crypto strategist Ali says a rebound from here could set up a run toward $2,570. Ali, who has 166,400 followers on X, frames that level as the trigger for the next leg higher.
According to Ali, a four-hour close above $2,570 backed by volume could confirm a breakout and open the door toward $2,700 and potentially $3,000. He says Ethereum remains contained within its four-hour channel despite recent volatility, with price now testing the lower boundary of that range. The base he is watching for a rebound toward the mid-range sits near $2,375, before any attempt at the upper boundary.
Earlier in the week, Ali also flagged a shift in exchange flows. He said roughly 140,000 ETH, worth around $350 million, left exchanges over the past 96 hours, a pattern he links to investors favoring long-term holding over active trading. With less ETH sitting on exchanges, Ali says potential sell-side pressure is declining, which strengthens the case for a bullish breakout.
