U.S. spot Ether ETFs lost $140.6 million in net outflows during the Sep. 14-18 week, the weakest result among four crypto ETF categories tracked by Farside Investors. Bitcoin funds nearly erased their midweek losses to end $6.1 million positive, while Solana and Hyperliquid products both closed the week with net inflows.

Ether exchange-traded funds shed $140.6 million on a net basis over the week, extending a weaker flow trend even as Solana funds took in $60.7 million. Combined, the four U.S. crypto ETF categories posted about $70.7 million in net outflows for the Sep. 14-18 period, as Ether withdrawals outweighed demand for Bitcoin, Solana, and Hyperliquid products.

Ether funds post the week's deepest outflow

The Ether group attracted $121.1 million on Monday but then lost $142 million on Tuesday and $224.1 million on Wednesday. A $143.7 million Friday inflow narrowed the weekly deficit without fully reversing it. BlackRock's ETHA finished $56.1 million negative for the week despite taking in $114.3 million on Friday, while Fidelity's FETH and Bitwise's ETHW lost $25.9 million and $33.1 million respectively. Grayscale's ETHE shed $31.4 million, and BlackRock's ETHB and Grayscale's lower-fee Ether fund were among the few products to add money, taking in $7 million and $16.2 million.

Bitcoin ETFs claw back most of their weekly losses

Bitcoin funds began the week with a $159.9 million inflow before losing $450.4 million on Tuesday and $295.9 million on Wednesday. Investors returned with $433 million on Friday, the largest daily inflow of the week, leaving the group $6.1 million positive overall. BlackRock's IBIT led with $120.6 million in net inflows, while Fidelity's FBTC added $79.9 million after a $310.7 million Friday. The reversal coincided with Bitcoin reclaiming $80,000 on Friday, after the asset had come under pressure when the Federal Reserve raised its target rate by 25 basis points to 3.75%-4.00%, its first increase in more than three years.

Solana and Hyperliquid close the week positive

Solana ETF products drew $60.7 million for the week, the strongest total among the four tracked categories, with Bitwise's BSOL taking in $58.7 million. Friday's $47.6 million inflow went entirely to BSOL, roughly 97% of the category's weekly intake. Hyperliquid products added $3.1 million after three positive sessions offset a Tuesday withdrawal from Bitwise's BHYP.
