BNB Chain now holds 187,112 funded addresses in tokenized equities, a 41% share of tracked market value that puts it ahead of every other network. The chain crossed $1 billion in tokenized stocks and ETFs by late September, and the broader sector has grown more than fourfold since January 2026.
BNB Chain has pulled ahead of every other network in tokenized stocks. As of October 8, 2026, the chain counted 187,112 addresses holding at least $10 in tokenized equities, approximately 41% of the total tracked market value in the category.
The scale behind the lead
By late September, BNB Chain had scaled to $1 billion in tokenized stocks, a 34% market share in a sector whose total capitalization had climbed past $3 billion. The chain became the first to cross that $1 billion mark, ahead of Ethereum at 22% and Solana at 20%.
Holder counts point the same way. BNB Chain leads with around 1.8 million addresses, a 45% share of tokenized equity holders, a broader count than the 187,112 addresses carrying at least $10 that filters out dust balances. The network also recorded more than $100 billion in on-chain transfer volume during Q3 2026 alone.
How the sector got here
Tokenized equities were valued at approximately $700 million in January 2026; by September the category had pushed beyond $3 billion. Binance rolled out its bStocks initiative in June 2026, gathering hundreds of millions in assets under management. Ondo Global Markets also contributed real-world assets products that made it easier to access and trade tokenized equities on BNB Chain.
These products allow 24/7 trading, fractional ownership and integration with DeFi protocols, with most backed by underlying shares held in regulated custody.
What comes next
BNB Chain did not win this niche by being the only chain capable of hosting stock tokens. It had a direct pipeline to Binance's user base, plus low transaction fees that make frequent, small trades practical. The chain still trails Ethereum in the broader real-world asset market, which spans categories beyond equities.
Three things are worth tracking from here: whether bStocks and Ondo Global Markets keep adding assets under management at their recent pace, whether Ethereum or Solana respond with issuer partnerships aimed at retail stock buyers, and whether the sector's total capitalization keeps compounding from its current level above $3 billion.
