BNB Chain added more tokenized fund market cap over the past year than any other blockchain. Its tokenized stock and ETF holdings reached approximately $1.5 billion by mid-October 2026, and tokenized treasuries are the largest single component of its real-world asset base.
BNB Chain added $3.7 billion in tokenized fund market cap over the past year, more than any other blockchain.
Tokenization puts traditional products such as stocks, ETFs or government bonds onto a blockchain as digital tokens.
Stock and ETF holdings pass $1 billion
The chain's tokenized stock and ETF holdings crossed $1 billion in early October 2026, reaching $1.1 billion. By mid-October, they had climbed to approximately $1.5 billion.
That came as the broader market for tokenized stocks and ETFs hit an all-time high of around $4 billion. BNB Chain's share of it was estimated at 37.5% to 42.59%, up from roughly 13% at the start of the year.
Along the way, the chain moved past Ethereum and Solana.
Holder counts and trading volume
According to Binance Research, 1.8 million addresses on BNB Chain hold tokenized stocks, which is 45% of all holders across the market. Tokenized equities trading volume on the chain also reached about $25.6 billion in the third quarter of 2026.
BNB Chain's rise has been tied to two products that come up repeatedly: Binance bStocks and Ondo Global Markets. Both issue and distribute tokenized securities on the chain, giving users exposure to equities and ETFs without leaving crypto.
Treasuries form the largest part of the chain's real-world assets
Non-stablecoin real-world asset supply on the chain rose 24% to $4.96 billion in Q3 2026. Tokenized treasuries accounted for $3.77 billion of that total, the largest single component.
Crypto Briefing notes that BNB Chain's growth is closely linked to Binance-affiliated platforms, a concentration investors should weigh.
