Spot Bitcoin ETFs closed the week with $924.48 million in net inflows even after a Friday reversal snapped a nine-day winning streak. Ether funds kept adding money throughout, extending an inflow run that has not seen a red day since August 11.

Bitcoin ETF investors pulled back on Friday, but the week still finished firmly positive. Ether funds, meanwhile, kept climbing without interruption.

Bitcoin ETFs Snap a Nine-Day Streak

Investors added $337.56 million on Monday, $314.37 million on Tuesday, $232.12 million on Wednesday, and $242.24 million on Thursday, extending the funds' run to nine straight days of net inflows. That streak ended Friday, when $201.81 million left the funds, perhaps a reaction to the hawkish stance new Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh took at Jackson Hole. The week still closed with $924.48 million in net inflows. Cumulative net inflows have climbed from just under $52.8 billion on August 14 to $54.63 billion on August 28.

Bitcoin itself has pulled back to $78,275.24 at press time, AMBCrypto reported, after the price challenged the $80,000 resistance level earlier in the week.

Ether Funds Keep the Streak Alive

Ether ETFs pulled in just over $102 million on Friday, extending a run that has not posted a red day since August 11. The week's total inflows topped $824 million. AMBCrypto put the streak at ten days, with $1.52 billion added over that span. Ether's price has climbed from around $1,900 to $2,458.84 at press time, AMBCrypto reported.

Altcoin Funds Draw Fresh Money

XRP ETFs took in $26.20 million in inflows on August 28. Solana ETFs added $18.08 million that same day. XRP funds also hit a new 2026 record of $2 billion in combined assets under management.

With the altcoin season index sitting at 30, AMBCrypto noted the reading still reflects a Bitcoin Season, leaving room for bitcoin to maintain the lead over altcoins even as the smaller funds draw fresh money.
