ARB has climbed nearly 30% to around $0.118, breaking above a descending trendline that had capped its recovery for months. The move coincided with a sharp jump in derivatives activity, and traders now watch whether the token can hold its new support and push toward $0.15.
Arbitrum's ARB token has jumped nearly 30% to around $0.118, breaking above the descending trendline that had capped its recovery for months. The rally arrived alongside a sharp rise in derivatives activity, pushing the token above a key technical barrier with far higher market participation. Traders now watch $0.15 as the next major level for buyers to challenge.
Futures Volume Jumps 713% as Positioning Builds
Arbitrum's 24-hour futures volume rose 713.64% to $814.13 million, while open interest climbed 62.09% to $157.06 million. Volume measures the amount of contracts traded, whereas open interest tracks outstanding positions, so the simultaneous rise shows that both trading activity and active positioning increased as ARB moved higher.
The higher open interest also raises liquidation risk. If ARB continues higher, short liquidations could add momentum, but if the breakout fails, leveraged long positions could accelerate a decline.
$0.15 Decides the Next Leg
ARB's daily chart shows the token breaking above a descending trendline after an extended sequence of lower highs. The token had previously fallen toward the $0.07-$0.08 region, where buyers established a base, before the recovery pushed it back above the trendline and toward $0.118.
The breakout now places the $0.091-$0.092 area at the center of the chart. A pullback that holds this region would establish the former resistance as support and preserve the higher-low structure. However, a daily close back below $0.091 would weaken the breakout and increase the risk of a move toward $0.087-$0.088.
Holding above $0.092 would let buyers maintain the breakout structure and target $0.14-$0.15 first. A decisive daily close above $0.15, supported by sustained volume, would clear the next major supply zone and bring $0.18 into focus.
ARB's immediate trend favors buyers while price holds $0.091-$0.092. A sustained hold above that level keeps the upside structure intact; losing it would put the breakout at risk.
