Analyst Ali Martinez named XRP, QNT, and INJ as altcoins positioned for a breakout this week, pointing to specific chart levels for each. XRP sits just under $1.50, QNT trades at $255 after a sharp pullback, and INJ holds near $7.50 following its August-to-September rally.
Ali Martinez flagged three altcoins as ready to break out this week: Ripple's XRP, Quant's QNT, and Injective's INJ. The call came shortly after bitcoin and most altcoins were rejected from their Monday peaks, just before the broader correction deepened.
XRP tests its breakout trigger
Martinez pointed to XRP first, saying the token appears to "have broken above the descending resistance line of a triangle on the four-hour chart" — a claim he had also made a day earlier, when he set a next target of $1.62 as long as XRP holds $1.50 as support. XRP was stopped at $1.53 yesterday and has since dipped to just under $1.50, and a decisive close below that level would likely invalidate the setup. CryptoQuant's CW struck a steadier tone, noting that XRP has already reclaimed the Point of Control and that the bullish trend persists even if the price keeps moving sideways.
QNT cools after its banking-driven spike
QNT ranked second on Martinez's list after banking adoption news sent the token up 530% at one point within days, from $59 to $370 before it pulled back to its current $255. Despite the correction, Martinez said an hourly close above $262 would confirm the breakout he is watching, putting $315 and $344 in focus. Before the pullback, he was even more bullish, pointing to a possible move toward $2,000 if QNT clears $430.
INJ builds on its August rally
Martinez's third pick, INJ, has climbed through several legs since mid-August. The token struggled near $4.00 before a market-wide revival pushed it to $6.00, then corrected to $4.60 before surging twice in September to top $8.50 for the first time in almost a year. The token now trades near $7.50 as it holds onto those gains.
