PrimeXBT has partnered with the Fundación Dibujando un Mañana for a back-to-school program, donating essential school supplies to children of the scavenging community surrounding one of Mexico’s largest landfill “Bordo de Xochiaca”.
Our activities included donating 230 lunch boxes, which were distributed to children attending the Centro de Desarrollo Integral Comunitario (CEDIC) during an event held on the 11th of September.
About the Centro de Desarrollo Integral Comunitario
The CEDIC is located in Chimalhuacán, a city in the Eastern part of the state of Mexico. The Center was founded by the Fundación Dibujando un Mañana to help improve children’s quality of life that are part of the “Bordo de Xochiaca” scavenging community. Their efforts include providing healthcare, education and nutrition to the young members of the community.
